Obituary for James Herbert Wilson
. Services for Mr. James H. Wilson will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, 2:00PM, at West Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, University Parkway, Leesville, LA 71446. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015, in the chapel of Jeane's Funeral Service, 100 East Union St., Leesville, LA, 71446. Mr. Wilson was born September 13th, 1939 in Shreveport, LA, to Elmer and Lillie Hardee Wilson and passed away on Friday, October 23rd, 2015 at the age of 76 in Alexandria, LA. He was a native of Shreveport, LA, and served his country in the United States Airforce. Mr. Wilson was a former deputy in Caddo Parish where he worked as the K9 handler. He moved to Jonesboro, LA and ran an alternator and starter shop for many years. In 1984, he opened Industrial Alternator and Starter Service in Leesville, LA, and worked until his retirement. Mr. Wilson enjoyed gardening and loved his bird, Doodles. Mr. Wilson will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents: Elmer and Lillie Hardee Wilson, brother: Harold "Buddy" Wilson, and sister: Frieda Wilson. Survivors include son: Matthew "Matt" Wilson of Leesville, LA Daughter and son-in-law: Michelle and Phillip Wadley of Arlington, TX Sister: Evelyn Cooper of Keithville, LA Grandchildren: Lensie Wilson Stanley and husband Justin of Anacoco, LA, and Darin James Baysinger of Ft.
