Obituary for James Clinton Hilton
A graveside service for James Clinton Hilton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery with Reverends Steve Lora officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the family and friends of Mr. Hilton will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Jeane's Funeral Service.
Mr. Hilton was born on May 7, 1933, in Plainview, LA and passed away on October 30, 2018, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 85. He served in the U.S. Army for a short time before beginning his career working in civil service at Fort Polk. After working for 33 years, Mr. Hilton retired from civil service and began work in several areas including buying and selling real estate. He enjoyed fishing and had a one-of-a-kind character.
Mr. Hilton was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lynn Hilton, parents Martin L. Hilton and Emmie Spears Hilton and sisters Virginia Gladys Baum, Lydia Gustava Hilton, and Emma Lea Hilton.
He is survived by his daughters Virginia Deanna Ellis and husband Victor of Anacoco, LA; Debra Kay Randolph and husband Perry of Moss Bluff, LA; and Sabrina Denise Glaspie of Alexandria, LA
