Obituary for Jacob Ryan Wilson
A funeral service for Jacob Ryan Wilson will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Heart’s United Christian Fellowship Church in Evans, Louisiana with Reverends Todd Egan and George Jeane officiating. A visitation time for the family and friends of Jacob will be held on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Jacob was born April 23, 1985 and passed away January 21, 2020 at the age of 34. He was a 2003 graduate of Evans High School. Jacob an intelligent young man who was inducted into MENSA (an exclusive club for geniuses) at the age of six years old. The thing Jacob enjoyed most was working with computers and he made this his profession. He could talk for hours about computers and technology, and he loved to help anyone who needed it. Jacob was compassionate, caring, and energetic. He had a huge heart and always had a smile on his face that would light up any room.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lonnie Jacobs and Aunt Joni Wilson.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Richard Wilson and wife Teresa of Leesville, LA and mother, Natalie Jacobs of Pineville, LA,
grandparents Jim and Shirley Wilson of Evans and Josie Jacobs of Leesville,
uncles, Lonnie Jacobs and wife Lisa of DeRidder, LA; Pete Wilson and wife Theresa of Burr Ferry, and Brent Wilson of Evans,
aunt, Jodi Wilson Nauta and husband Jerry of Evans,
brother, Corey Welch,
sisters, Jessilynn Johnson, Holly Reed, and Shelby Pardue,
nieces, Halle, Jayden, Mailea, and Sicily,
nephews, Hunter and Dallas,
and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Pete Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Brent Wilson, Corey Welch, Hunter Jacobs, and Jesse Smith.
