Obituary for Jackie Frazier
Funeral service honoring the life of Jackie Ronald Frazier will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Baptist Church 501 N 9th ST. Leesville, LA with Pastor Lawrence Williams officiating. Burial will follow on Monday, August 18, 2014 with full Military Honors at 10 A.M. in the West Central Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M until service time Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church. Jackie was born on April 11, 1940 in Buchanan County, Virginia to the late William and Lexie Frazier. The family moved to Louisville , KY where he attend school and graduated from Louisville High School. He joined the United States Army on November 11, 1962 and served in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star, Viet Nam Service Ribbon and other awards during his enlistment. He retired on January 31, 1983 as a Staff SGT having served Twenty one years. He loved to play pinochie, fishing and most of all collecting old coins. Jackie moved to Leesville in 1999 and in 2004 was united in Holy Matrimony to Rodessa Evans where they had 10 glorious years together. He was an active member of St. Paul Baptist Church where he received Christ as his personal savior, expressing "That man"s only hope relies in God". Jackie leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife, Rodessa Evans Frazier, Sons: James Frazier of Killeen, Texas, Mauro and wife Regina Frazier of San Diego, CA and Lether and Dorothea Palmer of New Llano, LA. Daughters, Valencia Matthews of Los Angeles, CA. Gwen and James Lincoln of Sacramento, CA. and Marion and Frank Bryan of McKinney TX Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com
