Jack C. Crooms passed away July 6, 2018, in Leesville, LA. He was born in Dothan, AL on February 22, 1926, to Jack and Gussie Crooms. Jack served 8 years in the Merchant Marines and 2 years in the U.S. Army. He retired from a restaurant and bar business in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mr. Crooms was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gussie Grooms and his wife, Mattie Crooms.
He is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Barbara Barrington
Nieces: Sandra Richmond and husband Dale and Trish Bennett and husband Randy of Leesville, LA
Nephews: Michael Barrington and wife Mary and Danny Barrington and wife Michelle all of Leesville, LA
and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family of Mr. Crooms will hold a private memorial service. He requested that there be no public funeral service, and in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity.
