Obituary for Irvin Logan Fiscus
Funeral services for Irvin Logan Fiscus will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Jeane’s Funeral Service with Reverend Roger Herrington officiating. The burial will follow in Burr Ferry Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at Jeane’s on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Irvin was born April 8, 1936, in Champagne, Illinois and passed away August 13, 2023, in Mansfield, Louisiana at the age of 87. In 1975, he moved to Louisiana where he worked in construction for Cajun Contractors. The last job he held before his retirement was as a superintendent at Sabine River Authority. Irvin enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Marie Burr Fiscus; parents; and siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Cary Fiscus and wife Linda of Mansfield, LA;
grandchildren, Sherry Phillips and husband Jeremy on Mansfield, LA and Lisa Bowers and husband James of Benton, LA;
great-grandchildren, Bruce, Benjamin, & Haley Phillips;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
