Obituary for Henrietta Duhon
A funeral service for Henrietta M. Duhon will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jeane�s Funeral Service with Reverend Bobby Ganaway officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Jeane�s Funeral Service and from 12:00 p.m. on October 9th until the time of service. Henrietta Duhon was born on July 2, 1951, in Pennsylvania and passed away on October 4, 2016, at the age of 65. One of Henreitta�s main accomplishments was raising her children and keeping the peace between her boys. She had a strong love for her grandchildren and delighted in helping raise them. Many treasured moments and precious memories were made with her grandchildren and great grandbaby. Henrietta had a love for the fire service and fully supported the Vernon Parish firefighters. She loved to sew and create masterpiece items for her family as well as putting puzzles together. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she would decorate every inch of the house with her village. Henrietta also enjoyed going to the casino, writing in her journal, and old cowboy music. Henrietta will be remembered for the strong love she had for her grandchildren and for helping others even when it was difficult. She is preceded in death by her mother. Left to cherish her memory are: Sons: Daniel R. Duhon and wife Tammy of Leesville, Hoy E. Duhon Jr. and wife April of Leesville, Kirk P. Duhon and wife Tina of Leesville, and Joseph W. Duhon and wife Julie of Leesville Daughter: Tiffany L. Duhon of Leesville Sister: Debra L.
