Obituary for Helen Ann Watts
Funeral services for Helen Ann Watts will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Pine Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Ray Suire Jr., Jacob Suire, Riley Smith, Ray Suire, Teddrick Gatewood, and Carlton Jeane.
A visitation will be held at the church on Monday, December 12th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Ann was born April 26, 1947, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and passed away December 9, 2022, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 75. She provided a loving home for her family and enjoyed making delicious meals. Ann especially liked anything with crawfish. Some of her hobbies were dancing, hunting, fishing, metal detecting, shopping at yard sales, and visiting the casino with her companion, Edward. Ann had a great sense of humor and would joke and make others laugh. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Danna and Helen Morgan Danna and siblings, Ronald Danna, Tommy Danna, Glenda Anderson, and Larry Danna.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kerri Midkiff and Julia LaCaze and husband Chip;
grandchildren, Kimberly Suire, Ray Suire Jr., Victoria Howard, and Breanna Moore;
numerous great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews;
lifelong companion, Edward Underwood;
precious dog, Bella;
and extended family members.
