Obituary for Griffith Carpenter

A memorial service for Griffith Carpenter will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 2 PM, at the American Legion Post #387.

Griffith Lester Monroe Carpenter was born September 23, 1972, to James and Gladys Carpenter. He passed away from this life on July 7th, 2024. Griffith was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #387 and was also a part of the APA pool league. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool with his friends. Most of all, he loved his wife and girls immensely, and was thrilled when he found out he was becoming a pawpaw. Griffith will be heavily missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.

Preceding Griffith in death are his parents James and Gladys carpenter; Sister Diana Morehart; Sister-in-law Rosie Bobo

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Sandy Carpenter of New Llano, LA; Daughters Andrea Nadine James of New Llano, LA, Sarah Nicole Wilburn of Temple, TX, Emma Frieda Lee Carpenter of Leesville, LA; Brothers James Carpenter of Leesville, LA, Tommy Bobo of Lago, TX, Christopher Carpenter of New Llano, LA; Sister Karen Williams of New Llano, LA; Sister-in-laws Nancy Blalock, Kathy Carpenter, and Sue Mikolaszuk; Brother-in-laws Randy Williams and Jerry Morehart, and numerous nieces and nephews
