Obituary for Gloria Jean Burns Moore
Gloria Jean Burns Moore was born on July 8, 1941, and passed away on August 14, 2018, at the age of 77. She was born and raised in Leesville, LA and graduated from Leesville High School in 1959. Mrs. Moore worked for over 32 years at Fort Polk for civilian personal and was the chief of her own crew. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville. Mrs. Moore was a wonderful cook and always had delicious baked goods ready for her family and friends. Playing the piano, singing, walking for exercise, and keeping in touch with her family and friends were some things she enjoyed. Most of all, Mrs. Moore loved spending time with her family. They will all greatly miss her loving, kind spirit.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Faye Burns and brother, Robert Burns.
Left to cherish their memories of her are her husband of over 58 years, Gary B. Moore Sr.
