Obituary for Glenda Lafae Eastwood Rawles
Funeral services for Glenda Lafae Eastwood Rawles will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Toledo Bend Bible Baptist Church, 1374 Hwy. 111 Anacoco, LA, with Reverends Bill Russell and Michael Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on October 7th.
Glenda was born September 20, 1942 and passed away October 4, 2020 at the age of 78. She served beside her husband, Milton, as a preacher’s wife for many years and was a prayer warrior. Glenda had a beautiful alto voice and enjoyed singing in church. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together and cooking for her family. They were all blessed by her delicious meals. Glenda was an excellent example of a Godly and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Milton Rawles; parents, Huey Lafae Eastwood and Ruby Lee Welch Eastwood; brother, Dwayne Eastwood; and sister, Margaret White.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Byron Rawles and wife Shawn of Defuniak Springs, FL and Derek Rawles and wife Crystal of West Lake, LA,
sisters, Betty Raspberry and husband Ray of Grant, LA; Sherrie Drewitt and husband Tommy of Pineville, LA; and Jean Jones of Gore, OK,
grandchildren, Chaise Rawles and wife Hannah; Corey Rawles and wife Kallie; Callie Rawles; Draike Rawles and wife Leah; Morgan Rawles; and Cayson Rawles,
great grandchildren Dakota, Ella, Remington, Camden, Avery, Lyla, Kinnley, Delaney, Kolton, and one on the way,
and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chaise Rawles, Corey Rawles, Draike Rawles, Cayson Rawles, Bradley Goins, and Nathan Bond.
