IN LOVING MEMORY

Glen Dale Richardson
(December 26th, 1973 – March 21st, 2022)
Glen Dale Richardson entered this world on December 26th, 1973, to Buddy and Freda Richardson, and grew up with his siblings in Anacoco, Louisiana. In 1996, he married the love of his life, Sharon. Four years later, he welcomed his son, his pride and joy, Quincy. He spent the years that followed creating unforgettable memories with his family and friends, whether it was at a racetrack, the lake, or just a get-together. After a long, hard 52-day battle, Glen was escorted home by his angels on March 21st, 2022.
Glen Dale was a devoted father, husband, brother, and son, who lived a life full of joy and laughter. To know him was to know his sweet soul and tender heart, and how he had a special gift of spreading joy. His witty nature was unmatched, and there was never a day where Glen wasn’t putting a smile on someone’s face. Whether it be at his job with Portable Air, where he was an electrical/air conditioner supervisor, or during his service as a Master Mason at the Bray Lodge. Glen was also an avid hunter and fisherman, you could always find him on the water or in the woods, enjoying God’s beautiful creations. There is peace knowing he is now with the Creator, experiencing the most divine scenery and, without a doubt, catching the biggest fish.
Left to cherish his memory includes, but is certainly not limited to, his loving wife of 26 years, Sharon Richardson, son Quincy Richardson and wife Shelby, chosen son Isaac Lee (Tito), parents Buddy and Freda Richardson, brother Danny Richardson and wife Monica, sister Lisa Haymon and husband Raymond, brother David Richardson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Glen will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Simpson Assembly of God with Reverend Tully Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Comrade Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, March 24th from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hillman, Randall Hillman, Billy Partin, Tyler Scott, Tim Womack, and Johnny Scott.
