Obituary for Gladys Gertrude Stephens-Lenard
Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Gertrude Stephens-Lenard will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cooper Baptist Church, 853 Copper Church Rd., Leesville with Rev. Edgar Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M at Cooper Baptist Church and then from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Lenard was born on December 12, 1929 in Leesville and passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Leesville at the age of 85 yrs and 13 days. She was a native of Leesville but being a Air Force wife, she traveled around the world with her husband and family. She loved to shop, cook, work with flowers, and to feed humming birds. She was a member of Cooper Baptist Church and will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and cat "Annie". Preceding her in death was her husband, Odom Emit Lenard, Son; Lynn Edward Lenard, Daughter; Dianne Lenard and Grandson; Joshua Thomas Mouton. Survivors are daughters and son-in-law: Bertha Mouton and husband, Thomas, of Leesville, Louisiana Lisa Darlene Lenard-Moore and husband John Edward of Leesville, Louisiana Brother: M.C. "Tot" Stephens of Leesville, Louisiana Sister: Lola Gaye Johnson of Ft.Worth, TX.
