She was graduate of Natchitoches Central High and retired from the Vernon Parish School District as a cafeteria worker. Georgia was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville, LA. Mrs. Gibbs was also a prayer warrior who interceded in prayer for her family, pastor, and church. Sunday was her favorite day of the week, and she loved to join in the congregational singing with her beautiful alto voice. Her precious grandchildren are Richard II & Annette, Stephanie, Kenneth & Ricci Waterman; Lt. David Adamski of Avondale, AZ; Sam & Kayla Queen; Ashlyn, Jathan, and Bowen Gibbs. Her extraordinary great-grandchildren are Jenaleyse, Georgia, Elijah, James, Wesley, Brooklyn, Brennan, Jason, Mason and Bailey. Cherished siblings are Kitty & John Burns and Willie Dell & Freddie Boswell; Dola & Marvin Wheeler, and Albert Gibbs. There is a host of wonderful other family members whom she adored including Sherry, Randy, Brenda, Callie, Beth, Joy, Andrew, and Angela.
Preceding Mrs. Gibbs in death were her husband, James Gibbs; parents, George and Dovie Roberts; brother Kenneth Roberts; sister, Marguerite Roberts; and precious grandson, Joshua Gibbs.
