Obituary for George Schulte
Geroge "Snake" Schulte the "Original Oilfield Redneck Yankee" was working his final drill on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 when he was called home. George "Snake" was a native of Harbor Beach MI but had lived in Louisiana since he was 17. He had worked in the oilfield most of his life working on rigs around the world. He worked for Diamond Drilling for the past 15 years where he was highly respected by his peers. " He loved to ride his Harley and wouldn't dare ride anything else and if you saw him he would usually be wearing his overalls and a bandana." Being PawPaw to any kid was a great love for him especially to his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Simpson Baptist Church on Hwy 8 with Reverends Jeremy Blocker and Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Cemetery under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will began on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Jeane's Funeral Home at 6:00 PM til 9:00 PM and then from 10:00 AM till service time at Simpson Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his parents Melvin Paul and Arlene Marie Schulte. Survivors are his wife of 18 yrs. Pam Fox Schulte of Simpson Children: Geroge Cobb of Anacoco, Chris Cobb and wife Jessica of Leesville John Richard Fox and wife Lacy of Caney Community, Jessica Haymon and husband Randall of Leesville and Dalton "Ambrose Schulte of Simpson Brothers: James "Jim" , Dennis , Willie, Tom, and Ron Schulte Sisters: Denise, Ann Hanson, Carol Weltin , Rhonda Trafelet and Catie Booms Grandchildren: Erran, Gwyn, Jake, Cooper, Jacy, Cayden, Trace, Tug and Tate Host of Nieces and Nephews and lots of friends.
