Obituary for Gary Stites
Memorial services for Gary Lee Stites will be held on April 27, 2015, at 3:00 PM at the West Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA with Rev. Curtis Brochhausen officiating. Gary Lee Stites was born May 13, 1959, to Bobby and Joan Lees Stites in Orange, TX and passed away in Alexandria, LA on April 12, 2015 at the age of 55. He graduated from Sunnyville High School in Sunnyville, CA and then joined the Navy. He had lived in the Leesville area since 2001 and worked for Yellow Top Cab Company for several years. Also, Gary was a member of the Celebrate Recovery Group. He was a gentle quiet person that loved to do woodwork and cabinetry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Louise Lees Stites. He is survived by his father, Bobby Stites of Toledo Bend, LA Sisters: Valery Gray (Gary) and Patricia Harlow (Gary) both of Toledo Bend, LA Brothers: Russell Stites of Anacoco, LA Nieces: Amber, Jessica, and Shelly Nephews: Jason, Ryan, Chris, and Brandon Great Nieces: Aeleana, Lena, Emma, and Bella Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
