Obituary for Fredia Jeane Alcala
Funeral services honoring the life of Fredia Jeane Alcala will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 11:00AM, at Jeane"s Funeral Chapel, 100 E. Union St., Leesville, LA, with Bro. Willis Ray Curtis and Bro. Wade Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 5:00 " 9:00 PM at Jeane"s Funeral Chapel. Fredia Jeane Alcala was born on July 27, 1934 in Vernon Parish to Sheldon and Nancy Jeane. She passed away on June 6, 2016, at her home at the age of 81 years 10 months and 10 days. Mrs. Alcala has lived in Vernon Parish all of her life. She started her career with Continental Motor Lodge then ran the Laughlin Family Business for a number of years. She ultimately retired from the Child Development Center at Fort Polk. She is survived by her husband " Vito G. Alcala Children: Edward Laughlin and wife Shelia, Lainee Marze and husband Charles, Della Bush and husband Delbert, Dinah Winfree and husband Gary, Robert Laughlin and wife Stacey, and Michael Laughlin and wife Laurie 15 Grandchildren 21 Great-Grandchildren Good friends: Anthony and Bree Munley Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com
