Mr. James was born on February 21, 1939, and passed away on June 26, 2018, at the age of 79. He was a 1957 graduate of Rosepine High School and retired after a distinguished oil field career. He began his career as a floor hand and continued up the ladder by becoming a derrick man, driller, tool pusher, company rep consultant, superintendent, and general superintendent. Mr. James distinguished himself as a top consultant for Kuwait Oil and received many outstanding performance certificates. His team outperformed every other team during the Kuwait oil fires by putting out the most fires during the shortest period of time. Mr. James was a courageous man and an outstanding supervisor. He led by example and everyone enjoyed his leadership. Mr. James was a loving, giving, and caring man with a great sense of humor who loved to tell stories and jokes. He loved and honored his parents, brother, and sisters. After 46 years, he was reunited with the love of his life, his first wife Barbara.
