Memorial services for Emma �Puddy� Sandra Owers will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Hughes officiating. Ms. Owers was born February 13, 1941 to Liage and Serinthia Chance Wilson in Toro Community, LA. She passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Tyler, TX at the age of 74. Having married the love of her life, Jasper David �JD� Owers on December 22, 1956, they made their home in Hornbeck, LA where they raised their family. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and her home was her castle. Being a homemaker, momma, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her career and brought her much joy. She was preceded in death by her husband, JD Owers, and one son, Timothy Wayne Owers. She is survived by sons: David Owers and wife Kim of Hornbeck, LA, Roy Lynn Owers and wife Terri of Anacoco, LA, and Nathan Owers of Shreveport, LA Daughters: Sandy Krizen and husband Rick of Hornbeck, LA, and Shelia Hughes and husband Joey of Colorado Brothers: Kenny Wilson and wife Suzie of Sour Lake, TX, and Wilbur Wilson and his wife Dorothy of Hornbeck, LA Grandchildren: Amanda Kassel, Heather Lynch, Tracy Ann King, LeRoy Owers, Casey Cain, D.J. Owers and Trenton Pugh Great-Grandchildren: Mathew King, Caiden Kassel, Avery Lynch, McKinzie King, Laden Kassel, Emerson Lynch, Grace Cain, Olivia Cain, Evaleen Grace
