Obituary for Eloise Jordan
Funeral services for Eloise Goodwin Jordan will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Flactor Baptist Church 1081 Hicks School Rd. Hicks, LA. with Dr. Chuck Stevenson and Rev. Huey Haymon officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Hicks, La under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 2;00 PM at Flactor Baptist Church and continue until service time in the church. Eloise, 68 passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was a life resident of Hicks and was a graduate of Hicks High School where she later worked and retired as a custodian. She was a member of Flactor Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was former member at Hope Baptist Church in Alexandria. Eloise enjoyed planting flowers, raising a garden and also loved cooking and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death was a son Bobby Jordan, father; Henry Goodwin, Mother and step Father Audrey Hicks and Lloyd Poe; Brothers: Harvey and Jerry Goodwin Survivors are her husband of 49 yrs : Harold Jordan of Hicks La Daughters: Melissa Jordan Slater and husband Kenneth of Florien, La Cindy Jordan of Hicks, La Grandchild: Crystal Slater of Florien, La Brothers: Huey Goodwin and Russel Goodwin both of Hicks,La Host of Nephews and Nieces Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.jeanesfs.com
