Obituary for Elois LaFaye Robertson Sigler
Funeral services for Elois LaFaye Robertson Sigler will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Jeane’s Funeral Service with Reverends Louis Robertson and Roy Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at Jeane’s on Wednesday, January 26th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Elois was born September 13, 1937, and passed away January 25, 2022, at the age of 84. She graduated in 1955 from Hooks High School in Hooks, Texas then graduated from business college where she learned to be a very skilled typist. For about 15 years, Elois worked at Fort Polk as a supply clerk and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a talented pianist who sang with her family in a gospel group and traveled to singings throughout the Vernon Parish area. Elois could paint, sew, crochet, and was a gifted writer. The hobby she enjoyed the most was loving her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy.
Elois was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Sigler; son, David Leroy Bloodworth; parents, Eloi Odell Robertson and Helen LaFaye Harville Robertson; and brother, Everett Loyd Robertson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Thomas Eloi Bloodworth, Mark Lynn Bloodworth and wife Becky, and Samuel Lee Bloodworth and wife Mindy all of Leesville, LA;
nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; and three nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bloodworth II, Damon Bloodworth, Mason Bloodworth, Thomas Bloodworth, Mark Bloodworth, and Sam Bloodworth. Honorary pallbearers will be John Bloodworth and Bryan Vickers.
