Obituary for Elizabeth Beth Hilton
A funeral service for Elizabeth �Beth� Hilton will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at LaCamp Church of God 6889 Hwy. 121 Leesville, LA with Reverend Shawn Waggoner officiating under the direction of Jeane�s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in LaCamp Church of God Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Beth will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Mrs. Beth was born on October 1, 1937, to James Byron and Viola Barge and passed away on January 11, 2017, at the age of 79. Being an educator for thirty-one years, Mrs. Beth touched the lives of countless young children and was willing to go the extra mile to be sure they were learning. She taught for nine years at Oak Hill and for twenty-two years at Calcasieu. Mrs. Beth loved nature and spent many hours walking through the woods, camping outdoors, riding horses, and admiring God�s creation. She passed on her knowledge of nature to many others through such events as the annual �Good Friday Breakfast on the Bluff�. Her family and friends have been blessed by her wonderful cooking and sweet, kind spirit. Mrs. Beth was a member of LaCamp Church of God for many years where she was a Godly example to all. She will be truly missed by family and friends, but she is in heaven with her Lord that she served so faithfully. Mrs. Beth was preceded in death by her parents � James Byron and Viola Barge, son � Jody Allen Hilton, grandson � Toby Kendall Hilton, and brother � Glen Barge She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years � Bill Hilton of LaCamp, LA Son � Billy Anthony �Tony� Hilton and wife Marsha of Sicily Island, LA Daughter � Jill Hilton of Leander, LA Brothers � Don Barge and Bobby Barge Sisters � Evelyn Taylor and Virginia Robinson Grandchildren � Billy Anthony �T.J� Hilton Jr., Kelly Rebecca Simpson, and David Dodd Great-Grandchildren � Kinzley Hilton, Braydon Hilton, and Eastyn Dodd A host of nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be David Dodd, Tony Hilton, Phillip Reed, David Smith, Scotty Roberson, Josh Simpson, T.J.
