Elizabeth Ann (Lizzie)Taylor passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 19, 2017, after an extended stay in the hospital. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends at the time of her passing. Lizzie was born at Reynolds Army Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma on April 27, 1974, to her proud parents, Neva Kay Knight and Ronald G. Geiss. Lizzie studied to be a surgical technologist at Virginia College in Pensacola, Florida. Lizzie had a great affinity for helping people and so she enjoyed her career immensely. She traveled to many states with her career and enjoyed meeting new and interesting people, and often she made these people her lifelong friends. Lizzie never met a stranger. Her bubbly personality and her love for others was unparalleled.
She was the proud mother of two boys. Zachary Aaron Taylor (11) of LaPlace, Louisiana and Timothy Aaron Swanson, who is with his mother in heaven today. She was a good parent, and she loved her boys unconditionally. Lizzie is survived by her father, Ronald G. Geiss, of Woodville N.J. and her mother and step-father, Neva Kay and Alton J. Knight, of Simpson Louisiana. Lizzie also has one sister, Rhonda R. Hampton, of Leesville Louisiana. She has three stepbrothers, John Vincent and wife Tammy of Leesville, Louisiana, Paul Knight and wife Tera of Richardson, Texas, and Duanne Vincent of McGregor, Texas. Lizzie also has two stepsisters, Amy Knight of Austin, Texas and Beka Wilson and husband Danny of Glenmora, Louisiana. They will miss her more than words can say.
Visitation and the memorial service will be held at The Church House, 2013 Alexandria Highway, Leesville Louisiana 71446. Visitation is March 21, 2017, from 5-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held on March 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lorraine Smith and Assistant to the Pastor Josh Wilkerson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Reeves, Trent Fuselier, Sammy Jo Edwards, David Delrie, Greg Rachal, and John Vincent.
