Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Ed was born on November 12, 1959, and passed away on March 23, 2017, at the age of 57. Ed served his country for over 32 years with distinction, as a 88M Motor Transport Operator, with multiple combat deployments to include the Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After the military, Ed devoted his time to the Lord through his continued ministry at New Hope Ministries. His passion in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved taking them to the racetrack and monster truck shows, fishing, the zoo, and anywhere where he could spend quality time with them.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Cristina (Tina) Meyer, stationed in Fort Stewart, GA and Jeremy (Boogie Boy) Meyer, resides in Penitas, Texas with his wife Jovita and three children: Jazz (11), Junior (6), and Jayden (4).
Four sisters: Mary (Jordan) Reich of Bayside, WI, Diana Grenier of Greene, ME; Sharon (Glenn) Stollenwerk of Big Bend, WI and Carol (Daryl Rasmusen) Catlin of Dickson, TN and one brother: David (Marsha) Kopan of Milwaukee, WI and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Edward Meyer, his brother Charles Kopan and his brother Howard Kopan. Gone from this earth but in the Presence of His Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
