Obituary for Edgar Junior Burritt
Funeral services for Edgar Junior Burritt will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Tri Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the family and friends of Mr. Burritt will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Burritt was born on June 5, 1932, in Bridgeport, Connecticut and passed away on October 18, 2018, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 86. He served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years and worked for RCA for over 30 years. While living in Marion IN, Mr. Burritt served as a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church and had a unique children’s ministry using magic and puppets. The hobbies he enjoyed were camping, hiking, and painting.
Mr. Burritt was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Elsa Burritt; and siblings, William N Burritt, Elsa Irene Lucas, Irene E. Burritt, Arlene M Burritt, and Arthur Burritt.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his wife of 61 years Beverly Burritt

Grandchildren: Amy Llorens and husband Jeff, Jennifer Austin, Eric Mitchener and wife Melanie, Adam Eberhard, Drew Eberhard, Kimberly Parker and husband Adam, Elizabeth Mysliwiec and husband Derek, Megan Wilson, Ryann Wilson, Sheila Johnson, Joshua Burritt and wife Kylie, Aletheia Burritt, Nadiya Burritt, Jonathan Burritt, Gabriel Vargas, Grace Keller, Isabella Keller, Cierra Bunch and husband Jordan, and Jadyn Keller
Great grandchildren: Matthew Llorens, Alexandria Llorens, Sara Austin, Austin Mitchener, Parker Mitchener, Tyler Reynolds, Zander Brown, Alexia Wyse, Austin Wyse, Allison Parker, Maddison Parker, William Johnson, and Izaah Herbst.
