Dwayne was born March 5, 1954, in Port Neches, Texas and passed away March 2, 2022, in Slagle, LA at the age of 67. Dwayne was a hard worker. He never minded getting his hands dirty. He loved getting up and going to work. He retired from Pride Industries of Ft. Polk, La. after 9 years. He was a member of Cooper Baptist Church in Pickering La. He came to know his Savior Jesus when he was 67 years of age. He loved Jesus with all of his heart and always said in his final days that he couldn’t wait to go home and meet his master face to face.

Dwayne loved being outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing and being in the woods. His favorite past time was to be on his tractor and riding his grandkids around.
He dearly loved his family. He was proud of his granddaughters and referred to them as his three queens. They all had their own unique nickname given by him which was Hannah Belle, Gracie and Bug. He loved and cherished his wife Barbara of 47 yrs. Their marriage wasn’t always easy but their love for each other was stronger. He was diagnosed with lung cancer and fought a long hard battle. He is now healed and at the feet of his Savior.
