Obituary for Douglas "Doug" Edward Goins
Funeral services for Douglas Edward Goins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019, at Cold Springs Baptist Church with Reverends Buddy Freeman, Ricky Robertson, and Jim Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery with Reverend Tully Burns officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for the family and friends of Doug will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th at Cold Springs Baptist Church.
Doug was born on January 1, 1964, in Zwolle, LA and passed away on September 25, 2019, in Leesville, LA at the age of 55. He was a graduate of Anacoco High School and worked as a painter for John Perkins. Doug loved family get togethers, ballgames, fox hunting, and car racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Carroll “Buck” Goins and Linda Faye Goins.

and best friend, DeWayne Bridges.
Pallbearers will be Dillon Hillman, Heath Williams, Jerry Garess, Lynn Thompson, Kevin Clark, and Mike Josey.
Honorary pallbearers will be DeWayne Bridges, Walter Bolton, and Charles Marze.
