Obituary for Doris Marie Paddy Harry
Funeral services for Doris Marie Paddy Harry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Brother Terry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for the family and friends of Mrs. Harry will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25th at the church.
Doris was born February 5, 1938 and passed away November 22, 2019 at the age of 81. She was born in Leesville, LA and after marrying Raymond Harry, she became a devoted military wife and traveled with her husband. Doris worked for 34 years as a CNA at Kurthwood Manor in the Alzheimer’s Unit. She liked to fish, bowl, and was a member of a bowling league.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Retired 1st Sergeant Raymond Harry; parents, Joseph Kelly Paddy and Eliza Jane Parker Paddy; brothers, Joseph “Buddy” Paddy and Donald Paddy; sister, Billie Louise Paddy, and great granddaughter, Eliza Jane Martinez.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Terry Ray Harry and wife Regina and Kelly Howard Harry all of Leesville, LA,
daughters, Sherry Jane Harry Browning of Leesville, LA and Donna Mae Hanley and husband Daniel of Prosper, TX,
brothers, William “Bo” Paddy, Tom Paddy and wife Susan, Wilbur Paddy, Floyd Paddy, and Raymond Paddy and wife Brenda all of Leesville, LA,
sister, Betty Jean Davis and husband Thurman of Leesville, LA,
grandchildren, Shanna Marie Martinez, Justin Ray Harry and wife Angel, Clint Howard Harry and wife Taylor, and Troy Raymond Harry and wife Mary,
great grandchildren, Caleb Martinez, Sherry Martinez, Caden Blackmon, Taylor Blackmon, Nolan Harry, and Owen Harry,
and a host of extended family.
Pallbearers will be Justin Harry, Clint Harry, Troy Harry, Kyle Hearne, Daniel Davis, and Steven Paddy.
