Obituary for Doris Jean Merchant Allbritton
Funeral services for Doris Jean Merchant Allbritton will be held at 3:00 p.m. at LaCamp Church of God on May 26, 2018, with Reverends Shawn Waggoner and Dale Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be at LaCamp Church of God on May 26th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mrs. Allbritton was born on October 19, 1934, and passed away on May 23, 2018, at the age of 83. She was raised in Leander and was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Allbritton was a wonderful cook who especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Allbritton; parents, George and Susie Merchant; and brother, Edward Merchant.

Daughters: Jeanette Gordy and husband Robert of Hicks, LA; Pamela Allbritton of Leesville, LA; and Linda Goleman and husband C.W. of Hineston, LA
Grandchildren: Ben, Ryan, Tina, Crystal, Billie Baugh, John, Vanessa, Victoria, Erin, Erica, Chris, and Lacy
Twenty great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
