Obituary for Donna Kay Beauxis
A mass of Christian burial for Donna Kay Beauxis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Michiels presiding.
Donna was born in Orleans, France in 1961 and passed away on November 25, 2017, in Shreveport, LA. Being a military brat, she resided in many countries and states. The family, father Don (deceased) and mother, Anna Beauxis, settled in Leesville, LA in 1969. Donna soon became active in church, school, and sports.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James Maddox. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Maddox and wife Tami of Leesville, LA and Kris Maddox of Arkansas; and beloved granddaughters, Sophia Kay and Alexis, daughters of James and Tami. She is also survived by her mother, Anna Beauxis of Leesville, LA and three brothers, Mark and wife Janiel of Evanston, WY; John Beauxis and wife Janet of Leesville, LA; and David Beauxis and wife Beth of Denver, CO as well as several nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church with a rosary starting at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will resume after the rosary until the time of service.
