Obituary for Donice Faye Craft
Funeral services for Donice Faye Craft will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Galilee Baptist Church with Reverends Wade Carroll and Daniel Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans Community Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the friends and family of Ms. Craft will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Donice was born on November 10, 1938, and passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 79. After graduating from Evans High School, she married Rick Stancil. For a short time, Donice lived in Marietta, GA and then moved to Pasadena, TX. She worked for 35 years as a nurse at Bay Shore Hospital. Donice was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church of Pasadena, TX and enjoyed painting. Most of all, she loved tending to her grandchildren.
Donice was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Kenneth Craft Sr. and Dora Doris Craft.
Left to cherish their memories of her are her daughters Katrina Tindall of Pasadena, TX and Tanya Butschek and husband Ron of Halletsville, TX
Grandchildren: Shanelle Bullock and husband Roger, Alexandria Stanaback and husband Chase; Ariel Walker, Ashley Butschek, and Ronald Tindall
Great grandchildren: Brandon, Alyssa, Nathan, and Preston Bullock and Faye Stanaback
Brother: T.K. Craft and wife Peggy
Sisters: Doris Craft Kariker and husband Ron, Dorothy Craft Simmons, and Delma Craft Lickers
and a host of extended family.
