Obituary for Donald Paul Jeane
Funeral services honoring the life of Donald Paul Jeane will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 1:00PM at Canaan Baptist Church with Reverand Morris Goins and CW Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The pallbearers will be James Jeane, Johnny Erwin, Jesse Jeane, Eddie Dowden, Payton Erwin and Roger Brister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 3:00PM-9:00PM at Canaan Baptist Church.
Donald Paul Jeane was born on March 29, 1965, in Ft. Worth, TX, to James Maxie Jeane and Peggy Eaves Jeane. He passed away in Leesville, LA on February 28, 2024, at the age of 58 surrounded by his family. Paul was a graduate of Evans High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. He was a hard worker and worked several jobs as a mechanic, truck driver, and off shore. He had a good sense of humor and loved joking around and playing jokes on others.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Maxie Jeane, brothers, Jerry Lynn and Roger Dale Jeane, and nephew, Brandon Dale Jeane.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Jeane;
son, Louis David Heck;
brother, Kevin Jeane;
special friend, Mollie Arnold;
grandchildren, Louis Maxie Heck, Rayla Maria Heck, and Addie Heck
and numerous extended family and friends.
