Obituary for Dennis Scott
A graveside funeral service for Dennis Charles Scott will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Louisiana Veteran�s Cemetery 3348 University Parkway, Leesville, LA with Reverend George Glass officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Visitation will be held at Jeane�s Funeral Service 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the service. Friends and family may meet at Jeane�s Funeral Service by 10:30 a.m. to join the procession to the cemetery. Dennis Charles Scott was born on January 25, 1956, to Robert and Marion Scott and passed away on November 6, 2016, at the age of 60. Dennis served in the military for 21 years, and he had many jobs while serving including small arms repair and large equipment repair. Dennis loved hunting, guns, and the outdoors. He worked with wood and could repair almost anything. Dennis will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents � Robert and Marion Scott and his previous wife � Mary Ann Scott Dennis is survived by his wife � Samantha Lee Scott Daughter � Heather Marie Buckman and husband William Kendrick of Bardstown, Kentucky Stepdaughter � Patricia Lee Johnson and husband Tanner Ross of Anacoco, LA Sister � Deborah Klee and husband Gary of Harbor Beach, Michigan Grandchildren � Tristan Lane Johnson and Lillian Rose Ross In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend, or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day.
