Obituary for Dennis Elwyn Perdue
Jeane's Funeral Service 100 East Union ST. Leesville, LA 71446 337-238-1700 Funeral services for Dennis Perdue of New Llano, La will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the New Llano First Baptist Church on Stanton St. New Llano. Burial will follow with Honors in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on University PKW under the direction of Jeane Funeral Services of Leesville. Family will receive friends starting at 5:00 PM on Monday, May 5, 2014 at New Llano First Baptist Church until 9:00 PM and then from 9:00AM until service time on Tuesday. Dennis was 63 yrs and 8 days old when he passed away on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Pineville, LA. He was a native of Honey Grove, TX but enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served and was stationed at Ft. Polk when he started his family and stayed. He retired from Ft. Polk Dept of Transportation and worked for many years as a Police Officer for New Llano Police and then served as a Leesville City Marshall until the decline of his health. He loved to be outdoors and spend time with his family and friends. Preceding him in death was his Parents and Sister. Survivors are his daughter and son in law: Amanda Perdue Bracksieck and Curtis of Humble, TX Son and Daughter in law: Jason Perdue and Trista of Hicks, La. Three Granddaughters: Autumn, Addy and Ava Wilson. Family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Association or to the Veterans Association.
