Obituary for Denise Kay Busby
A private memorial service for Denise Kay Busby will be held at a later date.

Denise Kay Busby was born July 4, 1959 in Pasadena, TX and passed away March 7, 2021 in Leesville, LA at the age of 61. She was a beautiful spirit and loved her family more than anything.

She was married to her best friend for 31 years, Ronnie Dale Busby. Together they had three children Whitney Dawn Addison, Cameron Russell Busby, and Zachary Thomas Busby.

Denise graduated from Pasadena High School in 1977. Throughout her life she worked several different jobs, from managing stores to caring for the sick and elderly of which she was most proud. No matter what she did, she always worked extremely hard with a smile on her face.

Denise was a friend to anyone she met and treated everyone as family. She loved spending time outdoors and soaking in the sun. Her world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved tending to her plants, playing games, watching television, and trying to make others laugh. She has left a lasting legacy for all who knew and loved her.

Denise was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Dale Busby and mother-in-law, Betty Joyce Cook.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Whitney Dawn Addison and her son-in-law Franklin Addison of Leesville, LA; her sons Cameron Russell Busby and Zachary Thomas Busby of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Sawyer Augustus Addison and River Alyse Addison; her mother, Charlotte Kay McInnis; her father Raymond Thomas McInnis; her sisters Darla Hurst and Dana McInnis Gaspard; her brother Kevin McInnis; and a host of nieces, nephews, and those she made her family along the way.
