A funeral mass for Denise Bernadette Scott will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church with Father Michiels officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 9:00 – 10:30AM. A rosary service will begin at 10:30AM.
Denise Bernadette Scott was born on November 14, 1971, in Dallas, TX to Thomas and Victoria Elrod Scott. She passed away on July 6, 2019 in Rosepine, LA at the age of 47. She was raised an army brat and traveled all over. She came to Ft. Polk in 1990 and settled in New Llano, LA. Denise was a homemaker who loved to cook and garden. She enjoyed playing bingo and was always willing to help others.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her sons: Joseph Michael Scott of Maine, and Dylan Thomas Scott of New Llano, LA

Sisters: Vickie Lynn Wyrick of The Colony, TX and Jacquelyn Scott Vargas of Leesville, LA
In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church.
