.A memorial service for Deborah Lee Matthai Carradine will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Jeane’s Funeral Service with Bro. Sherman Busby officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Jeane’s Funeral Service from 5:00pm– 8:00pm and again on Friday from 9:00am until time of service.
Deborah Lee Matthai Carradine was born on September 28, 1965, in Frankfurt, Germany to Milton and Gisela Matthai. She passed away on September 20, 2021, in Deridder, LA at the age of 55. Deborah was raised in a military family and lived all over the United States and abroad. She graduated from high school in Wurzburg, Germany. She was a real estate agent and then later worked in their family business. Debbie enjoyed camping and fishing; she loved her dogs and treated them as part of the family. Her family was her world and loved spending time with them. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Matthai and brother, Edward Matthai.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Michael Carradine;
son, Kelton Arthur Wyatt-Carradine;
mother, Gisela Matthai;
sister, Betty Jo Martin (Christopher);
brother, William Matthai (Terry);
grandchildren, Kayden and Kezley Wyatt;
nieces and nephews, Kristina Byers (Blake), Melanie Morel (Brandon), Dalton Matthai (Emily) and Matthew Martin;
great nieces and nephews, Lila Morel, Barron Morel, Adalyn Matthai, and Everly Matthai.
