Obituary for David Paul Johnson
Funeral services for David Paul Johnson will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at LaCamp Pentecostal Church with Reverend James Hebert officiating. The burial will follow in LaCamp Pentecostal Church Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The pallbearers will be Paul Sasser, Thomas Johnson, Jimmy Dale Corley, Landon Corley, Blaine LaBoard, and John Taylor.
A visitation will be held at LaCamp Pentecostal Church on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Paul was born October 10, 1966, in Fort Polk, Louisiana and passed away April 20, 2023, in Pineville, Louisiana at the age of 56. He worked as a carpenter and had attended LaCamp Pentecostal Church. Paul was a hard-working man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Paul was preceded in death by his son, Dillon Johnson; infant daughters, Katelyn Johnson & Victoria Johnson; mother, Dorothy Evern Johnson; and nephew, Christopher Johnson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yvette Norman of Pineville, LA;
father, David Johnson of Hineston, LA;
brother, James Johnson and wife Virginia of Deville, LA;
sister, Rita Ann Miller of Tioga, LA;
nieces and nephews, MaKayla Biller, Jimmy Dale Corley III, Landon Corley, Sabrina Corley, Emily Taylor, Crystal Taylor and husband John, Samantha Hardaway, and Rensemay Hardaway;
stepdaughters, Jessica Dukes and husband Gregory and Patti Dauzat all of Morrisville, LA;
step-grandchildren, Braxton, Maci, Sophie, and Caleb;
mother-in-law, Olla Kelone of Morrisville, LA;
and extended family members.
