Obituary for David Glenn Ford
Funeral services for David Glenn Ford will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church with Reverends John Lewing and Dan Reese officiating. Burial will follow the Toro Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Visitation times for the family and friends of Mr. Ford will be held at the church on Monday, June 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
David was born on March 8, 1957, in Zwolle, LA and passed away in Hornbeck, LA on June 7, 2019, at the age of 62. After graduating from Hornbeck High School, he served in the Marine Corp. Later, David worked as a heavy equipment operator. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. David had a special dog named Tasha.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Harold “Bub” Ford and Lelia Edna Erwin Ford and brother, Harold Ford.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rose Perry and husband Michael of Fisher, LA
brothers, Lloyd Ford and wife Donna of Many, LA and Floyd Ford of Hornbeck, LA
stepsister, Melissa Carroll
stepbrother, John Horton
grandchildren, Piper, Pipa, Mack, Michael, and Amelia
and a host of extended family.
Pallbearers will be Chad Ford, Bubba Ford, Trent Airhart, Doug Robinson, Michael Perry, and Sawyer Carroll.
