Obituary for Dave Glen Weaver
Funeral services for Dave Glen Weaver will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church with Reverend Buddy Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation for Mr. Weaver will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church.
Dave was born on June 30, 1966, in Corvallis, Oregon and passed away on July 2, 2018, in Hornbeck, LA at the age of 52. He grew up in Hornbeck, attended Hornbeck High School, and was a member of Hornbeck Full Gospel Church. For many years, Dave worked as a heavy equipment operator for J.D. Lites Company. He was a jack of all trades who loved to hunt and fish. Spending time with his family was the thing that Dave loved the most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Jr. and Francis Weaver; grandparents, George Sr. & Frieda Weaver and Glen & Sylvia Gibson; brother, Ferlin Knippers; sister, Cheryl Sigler; nephew, Davin Russ and niece, Shantell Knippers.
