Obituary for Daniel E. Fuller
Daniel “Dan” E. Fuller was born March 4, 1952 in Holly, Michigan and passed away June 27, 2020 in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer. For many years, he worked manufacturing furniture. When he lived in Leesville, he worked for Stanley’s Super D grocery store. Dan was an extremely intelligent man who enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy as well as card games like Euchre and Pinochle. He was very crafty and could sew and embroider. He had a deep appreciation of music, loved to sing, and immensely enjoyed outdoor activities like camping, archery, and canoeing. Dan had a great sense of humor and most of all, he loved his family. They were the most important thing to him.
Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his wife; Florence Fuller; parents, Everett E. Fuller and Tracy M. Little Fuller; and sisters, Pat Bender, Jane Holmes, Beverly Williams, and Sue Koonce.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jimmy Collen and wife Virginia of Owasso, MI and Jeff Collen of Leesville, LA,
daughters, Phyllis Huffman and husband Steve of Boise, ID and Lisa Carlson and husband Ed of Taylorsville, NC,
brother, Joseph Fuller of Florida
sister, Carol Glover of Minnesota,
seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Mr. Fuller’s cremation was entrusted to Jeane’s Funeral Service.
