Dallas Joseph Dauzat, Jr. was born on October 22, 1947 in Belledeau, LA, to Dallas Joseph, Sr. and Enola Bonstaff Dauzat. He passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2016, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 68. Dallas was a former United States Marine serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He lived in Texas most of his life and worked as an iron worker. Later, Dallas worked for the parish as a truck driver. He loved life and enjoyed joking around with everyone. He loved his dog �Bear� very much. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Raymond Jack Watts and Lester Joseph Dauzat, and sister: Cheryl Killough. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene of Anacoco, LA Son: Dallas Dauzat III, of Silsbee, TX Step-sons: Michael Battistoni, of Houston, TX, and Thomas �Tommy� Hill of Sea Brook, TX Sisters: Linda Poston, of Anacoco, LA; Tere and Albert Santiago, of CA; Dale and David Eaton, of LaPorte, TX Brother-in-law: Wayne Killough, of LaTexo, TX Granddaughters: Ashley, Brittany, and Sajah Great Grandchildren: Manuel Dallas, Kyley Marie, Aubree Nicole, Kole Brandon, Autumn Rayne, Braxton Goddaughter: Joshlyn Harris, Dallas, TX Numerous nieces, nephews and friends Funeral services will be held at a later date with military honors.
