Obituary for Clarence W. Mattox
Funeral services for Clarence Wilbur Mattox will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Anacoco United Pentecostal Church, Hwy. 171 N., Anacoco, LA with Rev. Shannon Buxton and Rev. Jordan Greer officiating. Burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery, Anacoco, LA under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Anacoco United Pentecostal Church from 5:00-9:00 PM. Mr. Clarence Wilbur Mattox was born on July 31, 1954, in Jasper, TX to Clarence Edgar and Georgie Mattox. He passed away on June 23, 2015, at his residence in Anacoco at the age of 60. He worked for the City of Shreveport until his retirement and then moved back to Anacoco. He was a member of the Anacoco United Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Georgie Mattox, and daughter: Shaunda Mattox. Mr. Mattox is survived by his wife of 6 years, Carrie Prewitt Mattox.
