Clarence Dewayne Ridens was born on December 13, 1945 to Clarence and Joy Whitfield Ridens. He passed away on July 15, 2020 in Baytown, TX. Clarence started working at a welding shop and then drove a truck for 30 years. He was a blacksmith and enjoyed working with horses. He wore starched and ironed clothes no matter what he was doing. Clarence was awarded the “best dressed” employee of the year at his job. He enjoyed the outdoors and mowing his yard. He loved to fish and it didn’t matter if the fish were biting or not; he was happy. His love for his grandchildren was immeasurable. Ashley was his girl and Dustin was his sidekick. They could instantly put a smile on his face. Clarence and his beloved wife, Nelda, were married for 40 years and Patrick said he never heard them argue or fight. Heaven gained a great man that will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nelda Ridens, and brother, Billy Ridens.
