Obituary for Christine Vance
On December 3rd, 1944 Christine Speaks Vance was born to William Lyle and Oma Brown Speaks in Leesville, Louisiana. On November 15, 2014 she passed away at her residence in Leesville at the age of 69 yrs 11 months and 13 days. Mrs. Vance was raised in Pickering but spent most of her life in Montrose, MI where she was a homemaker. She returned back to Pickering recently and loved to shop, travel, spend time with her family and friends and feed her birds and other small animals. She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Dennis and Debbie Vance of Pickering, Louisiana Daughters and son in law; Robyn and Rod Maitland of Montrose, MI Shalane Sims Vance of Washington, D.C. Sister and Brother in law: Charlene and Don Pearson of Hempstead, TX. Grandchildren: Wade Vance, Trevor and Brodie Maitland Great Grandchildren: Destiny, Amanda, Kayhden, Zachary, Pete, Michael, Nicholas, Joshua and Michelte. Her body was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
