Obituary for Cherie Lynn Allen
A graveside service for Cherie Lynn Allen will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Evans Cemetery with Allen Simmons officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the cemetery.
Cherie was born July 26, 1964, and passed away April 2, 2022, at the age of 57. She worked as a loan account manager at First National Bank of Deridder and was employed there for 19 years. Cherie was a quiet, private lady who enjoyed working and being at home with her pets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph B. Allen and Meryl Lucille Craft Allen; grandparents, Gertie Craft, Ida Allen, and Joseph Allen; and niece, Sarah Meeks.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Ricky Allen of DeRidder, LA;
nieces, Crystal Lucille, Heather Gelinas, and Michelle Bailey;
and great nieces and nephews, Ainslee, Corbin, & Breelyn Perkins, Marlie Gelinas, and Riley Bailey.
