Obituary for Charles Steele Simmons Jr
Services for Charles Steele Simmons, Jr. will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014, in the Galilee Baptist Church, Evans, LA. Visitation will be the same day beginning at 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Steele was born in Houston, Texas to Charles Steele Simmons, Sr. and Deborah Bedoya. He passed away at his residence at the age of 43. Steele was a brick mason and had lived in Evans for most of his life. His Uncle Jim taught him this trade and they spent many hours working together. He loved music and spending time with his family and friends.
