Obituary for Charles Joe Smith
Funeral services for Charles David "Joe" Smith will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, Oct 5, 2014 at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in LaCamp with Rev. Dwayne Davis and Arnold Norswothy officiating with burial following in the Mount Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville, Visitation will began on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday. Charles "Joe" passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at this residence. He was a life resident of the LaCamp area and was a 1961 graduate of Hicks High School. Having worked in the logging industry most of his life, he loved the outdoors and getting to travel, being with his family and making friends. Preceding him in death was his parents ; L.W. and Shirley Griffin Smith Sisters: Billie Reid Welch, Kala Sue Nichols and Sandy Jean Smith. Brother; Jackson"Rowdy" Smith Survivors are his wife of 48 years; Herberta H. Smith of LaCamp. LA. Three Sons: Billy 'W. Smith and wife Paula of Pitkin,LA Joseph L. Smith and wife Connie of Fairview, LA. David B. Smith and wife Tammi of LaCamp, LA Four Sisters: Judy Dewitt of Hineston, La. Elizabeth "Ann" Coody of LaCamp, LA Marna G. Boswell of LaCamp, LA Sonja"Missy" Smith of LaCamp, LA Six Brothers: Larry W. Smith of Hineston, LA John E. Smith of Leander, LA. Wilmer G. Smith of Leander, LA Edward L.
