Obituary for Cassandra Elaine Brown
Cassandra Elanie Brown (Outen), aged 66, went Home to be with Jesus in her home on July 12, 2024, in Leesville, Louisiana. Born in Lexington, North Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of the late Howard William Outen and Celia Stiller Luther, and sister to the late Renthy Johnson.
Cassandra graduated from Davidson County Public Schools and Rowan County Public Schools before furthering her education at Wingate School of Real Estate School. She dedicated many years to a fulfilling career in customer services, where she was well-regarded for her professionalism and warmth.
A devoted Army spouse, Cassandra supported military communities with resilience and grace, embracing the challenges and rewards that come with such a commitment. She was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for her family during their service-related endeavors.
Cassandra was an active member of Christian Living Fellowship, where she found spiritual solace and camaraderie. Her faith was an essential part of her actions and interactions. Cassandra was a soft soul yet an intercessory prayer warrior to go to battle spiritually.
Her hobbies included gardening, writing, crafts, activities that reflected her creative spirit and love for nature. Cassandra’s gardens were a testament to her patience and attention to detail, and her written works and crafts brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kelvin Lee Brown; daughters, Kimberly Marie Brown (Jackson); and Crystal La’nita Brown (Tuggle). Levon Arthur Stiller and Tonda, Frances Howard, and 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews will also hold her memory dear.
Funeral Services for Cassandra Elanie Brown will be held on Friday July 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Christian Living Fellowship Church. A visitation will be held on Friday July 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A burial will follow at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
