Funeral services for Brenda Lee Jeane will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Welch officiating. The burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Jeane, Calob Johnson, Austin Martin, Christian Alcorn, Koby Alcorn, Travis Alexander, Tim Pond, and Joseph Lemley. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Lemley, Tim Pond, and Jeremy (Toby) Jeane. A visitation will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and will continue until the time of service.
Brenda was born March 1, 1957, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away November 15, 2024, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 67. She was born and raised in Leesville, and on June 29, 1972, she married James Edgar Jeane. For many years she was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping, sewing, and painting. Brenda often shopped at yard sales and liked to cook for others. When you were around her there was never a dull moment, and she never met a stranger. Her family was the center of her world and spending time with them brought her great joy.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis B. Spillers and Maggie Morine James Spillers; brothers, Alton Spillers, Lester Spillers, James Randall Spillers, Harmon L. Spillers, and Charles B. Spillers; and sister, Elaine Welch.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, James E. Jeane;
children, Theresa Jeane Kelly (Kerry Allen), Staci Jeane Johnson (Jeff N. Johnson), and Kimberly Renee Alcorn (Vernon J. Alcorn);
grandchildren, Claire Bolding, Calob Johnson, Cody Jeane, Austin Martin, Alexis Martin, Christian Alcorn, Kendra Alcorn, Koby Alcorn, and Shelley Caramillo;
great-grandchildren, Jaiden Jeane, James A. Jeane, Korbin Horton, River Teal Johnson, Joseph Lemley, Holly Johnson, Emmett Jackson, Evelyn Martin, Blakely Martin, and Dion Waller;
brother, William “Bob” Spillers;
sister, Tommie West;
and a host of extended family members.
